About Us

Our team is so important and we accomplish a lot together. Our practice had adopted a ‘multidisciplinary team’ approach, meaning we take a strong collaborative approach with clients. We work together and ask advice of each other while supporting and encouraging each specific discipline. We believe this provides our clients with a more effective service and better outcomes.

Hey there! I’m Simone, your friendly neighborhood pediatric Occupational Therapist!

In 2019 I waved goodbye to the wilds of South Africa and embarked on a whirlwind adventure that took me to the vibrant streets of Thailand. In 2021 I decided to trade coconut curry for Vegemite toast and set up camp Down Under on the sunny shores of the Sunshine Coast in Australia. And let me tell you, I’ve found my slice of paradise!

When I’m not busy helping kiddos reach their full potential, you can find me soaking up the sunshine, whipping up culinary delights in the kitchen, and having a blast with my mates. Oh, and did I mention I’m a pro at PLAYING? Yep, that’s right! I take my playtime very seriously.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy back in 2016, and I’ve also got a Postgraduate Degree in Special Education Needs Coordination under my belt. Currently, I’m diving deep into the world of Sensory Integration, a topic that really fascinates me. I’m also super interested in school readiness, social skills, tackling challenging behaviors, promoting general independence, and working with complex diagnoses. Always ready for an adventure and a challenge,
I’m here to make a difference with a smile!
